Wentworth
This morning I packed a picnic, and then my two youngest and I met my parents at Wentworth Castle Gardens. It was the first time I had been. We walked up round the house through the formal gardens - being restored at the moment. There is so much to see, so many vista's and follies. Even not yet restored, it is amazing.
We then went down to the deer park for our picnic, before walking down to the unrestored Serpentine, and back. Almost 10,000 steps. Must go back. The place is great for pictures.
There are two types of deer in the park. The three at the front are Fallow Deer, with Red Deer at the back. I also saw a Grouse. I did manage to catch it in picture taking off, but it wasn't a great shot. Still, it's in the extras.
