Since I've been home today, and probably will be tomorrow too, I made a very slow start on the Wednesday mixed media challenge. 
The challenge for the first page was to make a collage of some sort. The question was also if we'd preferred a certain style and some mixed media/ art journal artists were mentioned. Tim Holtz was one of them, and Dina Wakely another. I found a free tea cup and bird template via Pinterest, so I printed it out and made myself a stack of tea cups from tea boxes and bags. The bird will have a string and that little label hanging in the end of the 'tea bag string'. I'm also painting the background and using a stencil to make a print. I love the colour turquoise and I might do the pattern in gold. I'm very low on energy right now, so this page will be slow in the making.
I know why my body is protesting. It's been a bit too much this spring and summer, and I've pushed on anyway. Hence the wild protests now. It'll pass. :)
