Tales of the riverbank

That's what this little vole made me think of. I was in the hide at Morton Lochs waiting for squirrels to arrive when I saw movement under a fallen tree. Unfortunately i was too excited to get my camera properly in focus and he was only there for a couple of seconds and so not as sharp as I would like but too cute (is it permissible to say cute when you're in your late fifties?) not to blip.
