Be careful what you wish for!

I wanted more rain, and that's what happened, at 6.30am for two hours, torrentially. It even came through the ceiling ( we may need a new roof) and because our clay soil is rock hard the water didn't soak in, so we have a lake!
The pool is ok, so I cleaned it as usual, but none of the gite guests have swum. They seem to like midnight swims though, so maybe they'll go later.
