HÔTEL DE VILLE AND PETUNIAS

I'm guessing our commune is fairly wealthy because they've spent an absolute fortune on petunias this year. I'm guessing also that they've taken advantage of desperate price reductions by plant growers due to Covid 19...?

There must be hundreds of thousands - maybe millions of these lovely plants around our streets.

This must be a good thing if only for the perfume in the evening - but then because of the employment of all the teams charged with maintenance - watering &c...
