Spanish flu

I have been wasting time on family history today, so to spare another cat photo here is one from the death certificate of my grandmother, who died in 1918 of the Spanish flu, at the age of 48. My father died many years ago, but I would have liked to discuss the flu with him - but like Boris, I didn't see the next pandemic coming. This isn't what I was investigating today.
