Silage

Out for a walk with VeroS again. We’d headed north to Obermühlhausen in the hope that the bad weather would stay close to the mountains and luckily it did; not a drop of rain! Not so lucky with the walk we’d picked though as a combination of well-hidden and just-plain-missing signposts combined to send us on a bit of a mystery tour. We saw a fair bit of this farmer who was up and down the wee roads all afternoon, collecting silage, spraying it then heading back for more. We managed to stay pretty much upwind, obviously more down to good luck than planning!
The landscape was great and we’d an excellent late lunch in the local Alm but I’m not sure we’ll be tackling that route again for a while.
