There’s quite a small community of familiar folk that meander down at the moment.
We swam a good way today...down to the sailing club and back, and guess what ... wait for it ... wait for it ...
... wait for it ...
... a ..... wait for it ...
... a ... KINGFISHER!!!!
As well as a few jumping fish ...
I saw a blue flash and thought it was a dragonfly at first but then realised it would have been a giant at that distance.
It darted along the shoreline as a blue streak.
A while later it darted back again!
