After nearly 6 months we have caught up with our daughter, her partner and the dog.  While he was very pleased go see us the lure of treats took over.  he has an ability to sit in the begging more for a long time.

The journey to Lancaster started off in mist and cloud but as we approached Biggar - see extra - the skies were beginning to lift and by the time we crossed the border (yes, it does exist!) the skies were blue and the heat and humidity rose. over 26oC at one point.
