Bassenthwaite Babes in Ullswater

I went with Julie from work. What a great, friendly and fun bunch of ladies. Most welcoming to myself and 2 other newcomers.  A group of the more confident swimmers swam from the beach across the road from Glencoyne car park over to Norfolk Island. I was in the slower group, that suited me fine, we made it half way across to the Island then came back.
I've had a thoroughly fabulous time and will be going again very soon.
