After the burn

Haven't felt like blipping for a while.  The recent heat hasn't help inspire as going outside and respire was as much as this body could handle.

Also been on a low since last Tuesday Cambridge city council & South Cambs District council recommended building on our rec. Frustrating as they broke local plan rules by disregarding protected status, and taking green space in a city ward with the least space and high population and adding more people and reducing space and exceeding building height with  blocks of 4,5 & 6-storey blocks among housing stock of bungalows & 2-storey pitched roof houses. Hearing councillors talk with clearly no knowledge of the area and having to follow protocol of not responding was extremely frustrating.  In effect, councillors making decisions were ticking the box of housing quotas and nit having any in their patch. The label of 'affordable housing' ignored the fact of already existing high density affordable housing but little open space.  We also have no right to appeal and a judicial review might only tweak a minor detail. Others in the city campaiing to protect their green space look on in utter disbelief and dismay. It has not been fair from the start with information witheld, zero/poor/erratic publicity of proposal. 
Have felt utterly fed up/disappointed/ disgusted/ exhausted.

Hopefully cooler weather may het me blipping as a distraction.
