Nice view again and things are on the mend...
Up in London again and I'm feeling like a tourist, even though I've lived in the Home Counties for pretty much my 40 years!
Positive news is that my sister is on the mend and as I popped in to see her today, she was being moved out of the High Dependency Unit into a normal ward. She is looking more like her normal self and it's a much less intimidating environment in a "proper" ward. More tests to follow, but much better than what could have been...
As aside, I noticed as we walked into (my sister was wheeled in) the ward, the reaction from some of the other visitors, as if to say "bloody immigrants" until they heard our accents or maybe I'm paranoid!
Much like me popping into Burger King after the visit to get my dinner and there were some drunk middle aged guys being rowdy in the queue, and their sober friend said to me "Welcome to England"! I'm sure it was a cue for a sarcastic comment, but I left it!
