Playdate

Off we toddled to Hemma today, for Ernie's inaugural playdate. Not that he'd have known as the poor boy slept through the whole thing. Still, it was great to share brunch with Mike & Jill's family.

The wee man has been in top form recently. He's feeding well, playing during his awake time and even busting out a few smiles along the way. We even had a couple of Skype sessions with grandma today.

I don't want to speak too soon but the six week mark has been a real milestone for us. Now all we have to do is encourage him to sleep on his own. Baby steps...
