Pudding in Bakewell - not a tart in sight
FRIDAY
Breakfast with Harriet and George outside at the Eyam Tea Rooms and then a drive to Bakewell for a socially distanced look around. It’s the first time I have been into a town centre for five months. Shopping was confined to the “window” variety which is easy on the wallet.
We had elevenses outside - I had Bakewell pudding and ice cream.
Drove home via Ladybower Reservoir, Strines, Langsett and Holmfirth.
The plants have just about survived.
