Fading into old age

I took some of my home-made Creative Flower Studio * bits out into the garden today in search of inspiration for the Flower Friday Challenge.  After the extreme (for the UK) heat of the last week or so, there were not too many healthy flowers about, so I settled on seed pods and fading blooms.  I rather like the curly bits on this image of an Osteospermum flower.

* Cardboard backed, black velvet backdrop in a wooden support, small silver/gold reflector (I also use white card  in wooden supports which can give a stronger fill-in light), tripod, macro lens
