Ducking, not diving
Rather misty and a little warmer this afternoon and it gave rise to this almost tropical effect scene. Not quite birds in the bayou but you know what I mean.
In other news: I awoke at 4.30am to the noise of quacking ducks. (They talk to me y'know). Looked out of the window and there were 17 ducks, moorhens and coots on the pond performing an feeding frenzy. Last week they were out on the pond in daylight hours but this week they've been noticeably absent. We thought they'd departed elsewhere now their chicks have grown but it seems they've just change their eating times. Why, I have no idea.
