Rotation

This is for the Mogster. These are drawings I did some time back when I regularly observed sunspot activity as a member of the BAA Solar section. These were made on consecutive days and show the Sun's rotation. I have been making 'time lapse' animations of them recently.
Whilst not actually a photo of today's Sun, even a photo taken right now would effectively be a photo of the past due to the finite speed of light; discuss!
