Wild Edelweiss ....

..... on the route up to Roc d’Orzival, 2,852m. The clouds made for a comfortable walk up, not too hot, and then parted to give tantalizing views like this background of the Dent Blanche with the summit of the Matterhorn just peeping round the left hand side of the Dent Blanche. Extra shows the summit of the Roc d’Orzival and a better view of the Dent Blanche.
