Happy Birthday Paul
I have blipped stories about Paul before. Until this year, he was a security guard at our local art museum. He is one of the few survivors who served aboard the battleship, U.S.S. North Carolina during World War II. Today is his 93rd birthday. He joined the navy at age 15 (fabricating his birthdate).
A huge parade was organized to do a drive by of his home. Participants included friends, family, museum staff and military vets, a motorcycle club (Paul used to ride), and local politicians. Extras include (1) the ride by Paul's house, (2) Gina speaking with the TV reporter, and (3) John unraveling some balloons
Paul gets a lot of attention, not only because of his vet status, his museum work, but because he is a genuinely nice guy.
For Paul
