Today we went to BBQ at friends. So much fun.

Then I got the phone call I had been dreading to say that Grandad had passed away. Its a weird feeling. He had dementia and detorierated over the last couple of years going from a very active man to be being bed bound and on pureed food.
I'm relieved for him, being a proud man that he was that he has now rid of the battle. Thankful that he still knew who we were and that we got to say 'goodbye' to him through the window of his care home after he was put on end of life care last week
