VJ Day remembered

Lovely coverage today of commemoration of the 75th anniversary of VJ Day marking the actual end of World War 2.
The National Memorial Arboretum, venue for the morning service, looks a lovely peaceful place - I must try to visit it someday; then the programme in the evening from Horseguards Parade was interesting with the bands, singers and personal memories against a background of wartime newsreel coverage projected onto the surrounding buildings.
