Home made pizza

I started the day with an early morning swim at the local beach, which was almost deserted as virtually the whole village was at the church as it's a major religious festival and national holiday here today. Gradually people started coming down and it became quite a social affair.
Back home I washed one of the biggest rugs ( old fashioned method - on the balcony with a hose, soap powder, bare feet and a lot of stamping)
We went to some friends' house in the next village for the evening, where they were trying out their newly refurbished outdoor wood burning bread oven to make pizzas for us and another couple. It was very successful - the pizzas were really excellent! A most enjoyable evening.
