Ephemerality

Summer is slowly winding down, as is evident on our daily walks over the same routes with Hamish.  We're not looking forward to dog walks on dark rainy days (and nights) or snowy cold ones, either!

Hamish went through quite a range of moods and actions today, but overall he's made very good progress over just short of four weeks in learning how to be a dog in a family, rather than in an animal shelter, or before that, a hoarding situation. 

I had a pleasant surprise today when I was notified by BlipCommunity that my August 15 photo was selected for this week's #BCSplash. It's one of my favorite photos and will always remind me of John Lewis and his legacy.
