Baba Ghanoush And The Horse

Today is the first time I have ever made baba ghanoush. It was a close run thing with forty five minutes to go before our friends arrived. However, it turned out to be tasty and delicious starter. We have had some friends over for a meal and I was running a bit late with the preparation.

I blame the horse. We went for a walk, with the camera and saw the horse. He has a bit of a funny eye, and white eyelashes and appeared very fond of Mr H. If if hadn't been for the horse, the 'Brandied Portobello mushrooms with tomato and cashew crust' would have been on time. Maybe....

The 'berry slump' for pudding finished us all off and made us have a bit of a slump, despite the coffee and mints. Our guests have left and now me and Mr H have gone into an even deeper slump. It is very relaxing.

By the way, this was an entirely horse-free meal.
