Saturday: Bird Sanctuary

It was quite the scorcher today.  We decided a few days ago to go to the George Reifel Bird Sanctuary in Delta.  Like many other places, slots need to be precooked.  We chose the earliest slot, which meant arriving between 0900-1100.  We were glad we did as it would have been too hot this afternoon.  But, all that notwithstanding, it was beautiful.  Such a peaceful spot and, even I, as a non-twitcher, could appreciate the huge variety of birds - including the Canada Geese who wouldn’t leave us alone as they thought we had food.

And, as if that wasn’t enough excitement for today, I also completed my tax return.

Watched ‘Parasite’ this evening.  Definitely one of the more unusual films I’ve seen in a while but very good.
