Met Lesley at 8:30 for a swim and coffee and flapjacks on the beach. A marvellously civilised way to start the day. Then a few hours of reading and napping before my mum and Clare came round for a Daisy celebration.

Daisy’s takeaway of choice was Kaspas the dessert restaurant- delivery made by Deliveroo and our cycling mad neighbour - he was delighted to be so close to home. A smashing day all round.
