the daily thunderstorm, or thundershower as they seem to prefer being known as, came early, leaving the air clear and slightly cooled if you can think of 32 degrees as cooled. a day for the hill except that it wasn't, the urge for a break, another cycle up the river... took the mrt over to Luzhou at the end of the yellow line and got a bike, up to bali again, this time quieter, the frenzy gone, waiting for the weekend, the sky looking promising for a sunset... up into the wazihwei nature reserve, winding through mangroves at low tide and back down to bali to catch a boat over to tamsui just in time for low clouds to roll across the horizon...still the right side of the river to cycle down for a couple of mrt stations and pop into the bakery of the holy hazelnut bun and then take a lazy mrt journey back into town... as things go not such a bad way to spend an afternoon....
