Dry Slope Skiing

I discovered today that photographing skiing is hard. If you are at the end of the slope looking up towards the skier, then the skier is coming to you at quite a lick.  My 70-200 f/4 is fast at focusing, but ot fast enough for that.

So, out of a whole bucketload of pictures, this one was about as good as I was able to get.

And yes, the crop is deliberate; I was trying to get a bit of panning into the shot!
