Violins

Once a year there is a great happening in Oisterwijk (Netherlands). Violin students from different citys gather and reherse the entire day. Then, at the end of the afternoon, the visitors enter the building and the concert begins.

This years theme was movie-music. There were 250 violinplayers and 450 visitors. Never ever before the building was so full of people. For once, we had a hot temperature too.

The players performed beautiful music. Many movies came passing by, like the sound of music, lord of the rings, James Bond, The Pink Panter, The Blues Brothers, Jaws, Les Miserables, ET, Once upon a time in the west, Star Wars, House Anubis, Indiana Jones, Jungle Book, the Lion King, Schindlers List and the Smurfen. They played a whole lot more but I didn't memories all titles.

Our eldest daughter came home just now.. she ran into a police control and had to blow. Ofcourse she didn't drank alcohol so she could move on without any problem.
