footprints....

In the night the dog next door was doing a lot of barking. I didn't hear anything outside so I stayed in bed!  This morning, I went for a walk and when I came back I noticed the wall beside the back door was very dirty - then I realised...it was footprints!
My neighbour then arrived to see if I had had anything stolen in the night as they had stuff taken from their yard!
So...the morning was spent investigating how we thought the thief got in, informing the police and the landlord.
Makes me feel unsettled yet again...I have already been broken into twice in Lusaka!!
