Empty skies

All through the summer we've been recording the number of swifts flying over the house, particularly when there are a number of them swooping over and making that amazing screeching sound. Swifts seem to be around quite late this year, but yesterday I only saw 2 very briefly, and I think today's change of weather means they might have flown south. The evenings seem to be drawing in too!
