on mum’s recommendation we went to fyvie castle walled garden this afternoon and she was right, what a place! so much fruit and veg, beautiful flowers...we were so impressed with the amount of work they’d done. apparently they usually sell it all but can’t just now. trees with hundreds of pears and apples on them, trained on wires against the walls - inspiring us to get a pear tree once the shed is down. green houses full of tomatoes, gherkins, chillis and figs. then we walked round the wee loch, it was warm and lovely.
the martinis visited with cakes too. the weekend has gone too fast.
