A compass jellyfish is best!

And it's the first jellyfish little Miss B has seen, and on her first dip in the sea - she grinned each time her mummy or I swam, as we took turns to bounce her around in the water. She loved it! There was no wind, so no waves - the sea was like a millpond. Though dull and cloudy, the air was warm and the water easy to get into, not too cold at all.

I liked the distortions of the pebbles through the sea, as well as the jellyfish itself, which is why I've chosen this as my blip.

This is backblipped as we simply ran out of time and energy what with eating and seeing to laundry as well as spending much of the day on the beach. Such fun.

(One advantage of the less sunny weather is fewer visitors, so our favourite beach for swimming, Blackpool Sands, wasn't too crowded.)
