The green wood
Report writing occupied much of what turned out to be a rather damp and dreary day. After several false starts, I finally made it out late in the afternoon, when the rain had slowed to a soft mizzle that was actually quite pleasant to walk in. I started at Thorpe Wood, where I took this multiple exposure image of a hazel coppice stool on my iPhone, and then went on to do a circuit round the Rowing Lake. For once I didn't take any other cameras - it was quite a novelty to go for a walk without lugging any heavy camera equipment!
