Kent

Today I joined my fun new group of friends in an exploration of deepest Kent where we discovered the village of Lockdown Heaven (twinned with Happily-Ever-After).
Those with cars investigated free parking places for future reference while those without cars (but so very grateful for free lifts) were keen to point out that the car-parking became free only after the purchase of a £9 entrance fee to a castle which wasn't actually an historical castle but just a private house designed to look like a castle and with precious little significant history.
