Here is a cool piece of Vancouver history - the Jimi Hendrix shrine. Jimi's grandmother (Nora Hendrix) worked her as a cook (it was known as Vie's Chicken and Steak House). Jimi stayed here with his grandma in '62/'63 while he was getting his music carreer going ... sometimes on a quiet night you can still hear him playing ...
Jimi was a major part of my life in the early 70's and still makes up the larger part of my music collection ...
