Leap

Lie in again this morning then the wetter game, including L trying to teach me how to approach cryptic ones....baffling!
Scramble to get everyone ready and out of the house to meet N in Portobello for brunch. Very tasty and had a chance to catch up with N after a long time. Whilst we chatted the kids were getting restless so I took them onto the beach (pretty chilly and cloudy!) to do some jumping pictures....as always with this idea it’s mostly about the giggling that ensues from many repeated tries!
Dropped me in town with Ad and Em to take back the unwanted clothes from yesterday and getting some things for Ad. Persuaded him to try some (ever so slightly!) different things and introduced them both to charity shops....they’ve lived a very sheltered life!
They then all went to see M’s aunt and I had a quiet couple of hours knitting and watching Grey’s Anatomy...almost finished it all.
In the evening we got dressed up (for a change!) and headed to Aizle restaurant in its new location inside a hotel in Charlotte’s Sq. Food still delicious (extra....sea trout with wasabi granita) but ambience there isn’t right (unsure how much due to Covid restrictions). Home late....
