The Roaring 40s - Mum and Grandpa

Found a bunch of old photos which I am fascinated by. My mum told me that there used to be street photographers who took pictures of you walking along the street randomly. Problem with this one is that I have no idea where it is! I dont think it is Perth, maybe Stirling. I love the vibe of the photo with the old car, the bus and the fashions of the day. Looks like baggy breaks were in fashion for the men!

It may not even be in Scotland as they used to travel by train to Epsom to see the Derby so maybe it’s down south.

Edit: after speaking to Mum it seems it was the streets of London and then they went on to Royal Ascot for the races of which my Grandpa was a big fan of.
