Duck family

Our trip to RHS Hyde Hall this morning was well timed as it was sunny, and humid, although all the butterflies seemed to be in hiding! Nice to see so many ducklings about those - think this is a  tufted duck family set!  The pond they were on is struggling level wise though due to lack of rain so this afternoons thundery showers will hopefully help out.  One of the local ponds on Canvey the other day had to have the fire brigade go along to fill it up as many of the fish were dying due to lack of oxygen. Well done fire brigade!!

Also had a stop at the garden centre for our breakfast and we were the only ones there again, although as we were leaving some other people were going in.
