Roadside pretties

We are now almost home, just leaving Christchurch. I am uploading this to my ipad as we drive, then used snapseed app to choose a frame thingi. Other than that straight from the camera. Just another couple of hours then home.

Left the Sounds at 1.30 after a superb lunch at The SlipInn restaurant. This is a superb place, perfectly placed beside the slipway in the Havelock Marina. Our friends (that we have been with in recent days), son is the chef there, his wife restaurant manager., athough neither were there today, he being out in his boat, she not well at home. Fresh beer battered blue cod, a sensation!!

Another awesome day, with not a cloud to be seen.

A rushed blip walk this morning before breakfast up the hill to the road (pant, pant). These lovely flowers are everywhere on the roadsides at the moment, not only in The Sounds but here in Canterbury too. Queens Ann's Lace maybe.

Our brilliant few days have drawn to a close, we are happy campers. Still more excitement tomorrow with our Australian blipping couple coming to stay for a couple of nights.
