The Hive

Had a day at Kew Gardens with fellow Blipper W. Used the train and tube for the first time since March. Not too many people on either so felt safe.
This installation stands at 17 metres tall in a wildflower meadow and recreates the life inside a beehive. The mesh frame is constructed from 170,000 aluminium parts and 1000 LED lights. The lights glow according to the vibrations of bees that live in the gardens.
