Wide awake

.... And she didn't go back to sleep until 03.35am!!!
I kept putting her back in her cot, but she just kept standing up and shouting me, or lying down and kicking her legs (which in the travel cot makes a really loud bang). If we were at home I would have ignored her and I'm sure she would have given up and slept soon enough. But I was very aware of everyone else in the house, and the fact that Sam and Lauren had to get up for work. So she ended up in our bed...
Ben came up to bed around 1.30, after I'd sent him this picture to say she was wide awake... He wasn't much help though, just went straight to sleep!!
Safe to say I'm quite tired today!
We had plans to meet up with Anne and Sam, and it was just going to be me and Thomas, but Kate and Allan decided they'd come too, so we all went. We met them at the garden house in Marple, and had a lovely few hours wandering round and looking at the animals, and Sam and Thomas played on all the climbing frames and swings. We also had a little wander down by the river and they practiced skimming stones with Ben.
Early nights all round tonight!
