Lots of rain overnight and this morning.  Everywhere is so muddy and wet so back to wearing wellies.  Planned to walk Misty in the local moss nature reserve in the rain this morning but when we got there we were met with clouds and clouds of midges!  Never seen so many, so now I know what it must be like in Scotland!   So back in the car complete with midges and went down to the estuary.  No sign of any cows and no people.  Just me, Misty and lots of wading birds and the rain stopped, bliss.  Oh and no midges :)  So today's blip is of a Cormorant chilling out on a weathered post and one of four swans having a good feed.
