Summer Heat II

The summer heat has
started to sizzle all that
was green and luscious.

We're in a heat wave with concerns for forest fires now as vegetation starts to dry out. Our spring and early summer was wet and cold. Grasses and weeds have grown tall and lanky. There's lots to burn now besides the forests. It doesn't take much to start a fire once everything becomes dry and crispy..... a careless match, an untended campfire, a lightning strike......Today, we see a high of 95 F/ 35 C and much the same for the coming week.
