Shadows of summer

Meadow memories,
Shadows of a summer past,
Captured in a vase.

Back Blip:
Went to our spiritualist hairdressers today for a haircut. She has a little salon in her home which is a haven of peace and tranquility despite being wedged between University of Sussex and the new football stadium. These dried flowers were making interesting shadows on the wall .... I thought of the haiku while my hair was being snipped!

Summer seems so distant at the moment....
