an early rise, swift coffees to fire up the first cool morning in what seems like and age and set off towards the slightly higher hills... the path i'd wanted to take was blocked off for renovation so off up towards 95 hill and then, deciding that i'd already missed lunch and was in no hurry to come down continuing off towards the end of the trail at one of the university campuses...forgetting that it's what feels like a bit of a trek to the you bike stand, that the hills are cooler than the city, the early afternoon heat making me glad that i'd taken an extra bottle of water and then helping me to decide that i really didn't want to cycle all the way back to the flat...happily it's at the end of our line, so i got a seat at the front of the carriage, the driverless aspect of the mrt system encouraging the camera to escape the bag for the first and last time in the day...
