Practise makes perfect

There is absolutely no danger of us competing with Emmy and her adorable dancing dogs, but I do think the woofer and I have finally made progress with his off lead training. Apparently the average dog is capable of learning 100 words - wonder how many of them know the word "Blip?"

I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands. When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands; then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat. For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that.
