Dazed

This poor blackbird flew into our living room window and I had to go out and rescue it from the cotoneaster which grows under the window in case a cat came along. I sat it on this stone and it stayed there until it recovered. We were relieved when it flew off.
We also were happily surprised to see a greater spotted woodpecker on our nut feeder twice today! Haven’t seen one for three years. ( We keep notes in our bird book)
