Queen's Terrace Gardens
After a visit to the supermarket this morning I called in to see Cosmo. A fairly short visit as she was going out to see her (Doggie) friends at about 1pm.
This left my step count a little on the low side so I did one of my shut down walks in the afternoon. This route has become overly familiar, and even a little depressing as it is reminiscent of the interminable days in late March, April, May and June.
It has been mostly cloudy today, there was a brief moment when the sun tried to appear while I was with Cosmo. At least it remained dry.
Speaking of dry, tomorrow we should hear whether or not we are to be released from our punishment shutdown following the spread of the virus in the brief period when the pubs were open. The new infection rate is quite low at the moment which might give rise to some optimism, though the sounds emanating from Edinburgh may point in the other direction.
The Number 10 pub marquee is just visible behind the flowers. It has been closed for two week now.
