This afternoon’s walk took us through the village to Moss Lane and along there to Bob’s Pond.
No swan today but a couple of coots and a moorhen were busy among the reeds and a woodpecker could be heard from time to time.
However, J spotted a grass snake in the shallows but couldn’t get a photo before it disappeared. Oh well.
Very warm out there which was nice as a shower was expected around 4 o’clock but it never came.
